Green and Black Lace Dress

For this commission i was given three parameters - the dress had to be green, have an adjustable element and be an ‘every day’ garment.

The base green fabric is deadstock and every piece of lace that’s been appliqué onto the dress is vintage and has been hand dyed black. Even the threads and buttons that make up the dress are all second hand and sourced from charity shops.

The waist and underbust have strap adjusters to allow a flexibility of two sizes around those areas.
