Blanket Stitch Floral Sweatshirt

I was given some fabric that was stored in a studio for some time. There was one piece that had many different water colour flowers in a repeat pattern. This sweatshirt I cut out several and blanket stitch applique them onto the back and front for a cascade effect.

The body of this sweatshirt is organic cotton jersey and the sleeves are in a cotton linen mix. All the fabric has been hand dyed with waste ink that was collected from an industrial fabric printer.

This is one of a kind and has a relaxed fit true to a ‘mens medium’.
