Floral Applique Silver Jacket

I was given some fabric that was stored in a studio for some time. There was one piece that had many different water colour flowers in a repeat pattern. For this jacket I cut out several flowers and used a blanket stitch to applique them onto the body. This is a time consuming task but the result is something quite special.

The body of the fabric is industry waste and the sleeves have been lined with a 30 scarf silk that I found from someone having a clear out of their attic.

This jacket is one of a kind and fits to a true ‘mens medium’
